At Toujours Mikes, we like to make a difference in the well-being of our communities and partner with causes that transform lives. That's why we are pleased to announce our involvement with Opération Enfant Soleil, as a partner in the sale of tickets for the Maison Enfant Soleil, designed by Bonneville 2020 campaign. This project is very close to our hearts as it allows us to help children and their families in all regions of Quebec, people we want to welcome again and again with a smile and their plans for the future.
Unveiled on January 30, the unique model of the new house, named after Jayden, in honour of the Enfant Soleil ambassador of the project, was specially designed for Opération Enfant Soleil by Bonneville Homes. In a mid-century style, the designers were inspired by the 1950s and 1960s to create this magnificent home. You can visit it virtually by clicking here (powered by RE/MAX).
Opération Enfant Soleil is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support the development of quality pediatrics for all children in Quebec. Since 1988, the organization has raised more than $255 million to support hospitals and organizations across the province. Last year, more than $2.1 million was raised through the sale of raffle tickets. Since the first edition, the Maisons Enfant Soleil draws have raised more than $26 million.
Tickets were sold on our website and all our restaurants for the Maison Enfant Soleil, designed by Bonneville 2020 contest. This helps sick children to receive better care, everywhere in Quebec. The Grand Prize of the contest is of over $500,000, which includes the fully decorated and furnished house, as well as a $100,000 allowance towards the purchase of a lot in the city of your choice or $325,000 in cash.
Each participant will also have the chance to win one of 33 secondary prizes, offered as gift cards by several generous partners. The draw for the Grand Prize will take place on Thursday January 28th, 2021 between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., during the Salut Bonjour program on TVA. The draw for the 33 secondary prizes will follow, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., off-air. The names of the winners will be published the same day on the website www.maisonenfantsoleil.ca, in the Journal de Québec, the Journal de Montréal and on Opération Enfant Soleil's Facebook page.
